We had a wonderful time at Cheryl and Hobart's place. From the first message to see about availability and about bringing our dog along, to checkout and the farewell message, everything went smoothly. This cottage was very clean and had everything you could need when visiting St Pete's, including beach chairs, towels, and umbrellas. The kitchen was well-appointed with everything you could need to cook a meal. There was plenty of seating both inside and outside of the cottage, and we never felt crowded. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious and clean, and the beds were very comfortable. The location is prime, just steps from the beach and a couple blocks to shops and restaurants. Cheryl has a binder full of information about near-by attractions and restaurants, and she also texted to us many good recommendations about where to eat. Cheryl was very friendly and responsive, the check-in and check-out procedures were easy, she left clear instructions about where to park, house rules, and check-out procedures. We are looking forward to staying here again when we come back to visit St Pete's Beach! Grace—July 2020

We were so thrilled at what a great location this adorable cottage has to the beach. The beach is literally across the street, and great local restaurants are right down the block! We stayed in the Steps to Sand Coastal Cottage, a 2-bedroom unit that with privacy at the back of the property, which provided a welcomed, quiet retreat. The split layout of bedrooms provides privacy, and the quaint kitchen has everything you . The owners are thoughtful and attentive and made sure we had a great stay. They've taken wonderful care of this 1925 waterfront home, even retaining the original tile floors to maintain its character. Looking forward to planning our next "stay-cation!" Worth every penny!

The hosts were wonderful and knowledgeable about the area, including the best places to eat and suggestions on what to order. The place was spotless and there were several thoughtful amenities throughout. The location can not be beat, literally steps to one of the best beaches in Pinellas County. You can catch sunrise and sunset via just a short walk. We are locals but felt like tourists in our own town thanks to all of the information provided. The hosts were very responsive. I highly recommend this spot. Worth every penny!

Safe and secure

Cheryl was very responsive and accommodating. The cottage was clean and welcoming with everything one would need while vacationing.The location was convenient for my family of five. The area felt safe and secure enough for my husband and I to walk a couple blocks to have dinner alone without the whole crew with us. I like that the cottage was well lighted at night compared to some of the surrounding homes. The beach was steps away which allowed us to see an amazing sunrise and sunset without any rush. Sunset watching, cocktails, and fishing charters

We stayed at the 2 bedroom Steps to Sand cottage. There was plenty of space, everything you need, and the unit has 2 AC units with adjustable settings which was plenty cool against the Florida heat. The beach access is across the street and the dog beach and fishing charters are within walking distance of a couple of blocks. Sunset watching, cocktails, live music, ice cream, and a farm to table restaurant is a block away in the opposite direction. Cheryl is a very accommodating host and checked in with us several times to make sure our needs were met.

Tons of amenities come with the property, makes you feel right at home. The house lacked nothing, and everything works...! The best in St Pete and Pass a Grille!

There is no better location in Pass a grille than this lovely seaside cottage. Maybe 15 steps to the ocean, 1 minute to shops and dining, cool breezes at every turn and a casual, comfortable "Bohemian" decor that will make everyone in your party feel casual and comfortable. Cheryl, our host, was amazing at recommending things to do, see and where to shop and eat. As foodies, we have high standards and Cheryl's suggestions didn't disappoint! The cottage has everything you will need and then some. The layout is great for families -- split bedrooms and baths with plenty of lounging, dining space in between to accommodate a small or mid size group. She also has a charming one bedroom on the ground floor - perfect for a couple. Our stay was terrific and we plan to return. She offers the best in St. Pete and Pass a Grille.
