We had a wonderful time at Cheryl and Hobart's place. From the first message to see about availability and about bringing our dog along, to checkout and the farewell message, everything went smoothly. This cottage was very clean and had everything you could need when visiting St Pete's, including beach chairs, towels, and umbrellas. The kitchen was well-appointed with everything you could need to cook a meal. There was plenty of seating both inside and outside of the cottage, and we never felt crowded. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious and clean, and the beds were very comfortable. The location is prime, just steps from the beach and a couple blocks to shops and restaurants. Cheryl has a binder full of information about near-by attractions and restaurants, and she also texted to us many good recommendations about where to eat. Cheryl was very friendly and responsive, the check-in and check-out procedures were easy, she left clear instructions about where to park, house rules, and check-out procedures. We were so thrilled at what a great location this adorable cottage has to the beach. The beach is literally across the street, and great local restaurants are right down the block! We stayed in the Steps to Sand Coastal Cottage, a 2-bedroom unit that with privacy at the back of the property, which provided a welcomed, quiet retreat. The split layout of bedrooms provides privacy, and the quaint kitchen has everything you . The owners are thoughtful and attentive and made sure we had a great stay. They've taken wonderful care of this 1925 waterfront home, even retaining the original tile floors to maintain its character. Looking forward to planning our next "stay-cation!" We could not have asked for a nicer experience - especially for 4th of July on short notice and with our 60 lb dog in tow! Cheryl was very attentive and helpful. She made us feel welcome immediately, and made sure we knew how to find dog friendly restaurants and the dog beach (a few blocks walk from the cottage). She also provided us with a detailed description of the cleaning procedures for the property in advance of our arrival, which was a comfort. Local menus and recommendations are organized in a binder, as well as instructions for using the very convenient FreeBee shuttle, made getting groceries and meals a breeze. The 1 bedroom was perfect for a couple with a dog. The view of the Gulf from the living room and the front porch (and the famous sunsets) is spectacular. Public beach access is steps away. A large assortment of beach chairs, umbrellas, noodles, etc are available right outside your door. All are in good repair, and so are the bikes, in case you would like to venture out for a bite or drink. Plenty of towels, toiletries, and kitchen basics. So many little details were already thought of and provided for, we felt like all we had to do was show up and relax! Exactly what we needed. Thank you, Cheryl and Hobie!

This place is a gem. This is our second visit and we just love this cottage. Its literally a few steps away from the most beautiful and quiet beach in the Tampa Bay Area. The place itself is charming, spacious and fully stocked with everything you could need during your stay. It is a really good size and feels like your own little house. Its perfect for our dog to hang out and sleep while we all had fun on the beach. I plan on going back again next year. To top it all off the owners are really wonderful, so responsive and nice. The hosts were wonderful and knowledgeable about the area, including the best places to eat and suggestions on what to order. The place was spotless and there were several thoughtful amenities throughout. The location can not be beat, literally steps to one of the best beaches in Pinellas County. You can catch sunrise and sunset via just a short walk. We are locals but felt like tourists in our own town thanks to all of the information provided. The hosts were very responsive. I highly recommend this spot. Worth every penny!

Perfect beach front house to stay for a getaway trip in St. Pete! Clean and spacious 1 bedroom and bigger units are available as well. Cheryl was great and helpful with recommendations! We couldn’t have wished for a better location. We walked to everything and got to enjoy the dog beach with our dog Handsome on the intercoastal side of the beach. My fiancé, 14-year-old beagle, and I stayed in the Sunset Cottage (you can watch the sunset from the couch!) for seven nights, and we could not have asked for a more perfect stay. The location was amazing. The beach was right across the street, and we had everything we could possibly need provided for us: chairs, mats, an umbrella, etc. We were also just a couple of blocks from several shops and restaurants, so we barely had to drive once we got there. The cottage itself was clean, comfortable, and fully furnished and stocked. I was in constant contact with Cheryl, one of the owners, and she went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed (and more). Cheryl was very responsive and accommodating. The cottage was clean and welcoming with everything one would need while vacationing.The location was convenient for my family of five. The area felt safe and secure enough for my husband and I to walk a couple blocks to have dinner alone without the whole crew with us. I like that the cottage was well lighted at night compared to some of the surrounding homes. The beach was steps away which allowed us to see an amazing sunrise and sunset without any rush. We stayed at the 2 bedroom Steps to Sand cottage. There was plenty of space, everything you need, and the unit has 2 AC units with adjustable settings which was plenty cool against the Florida heat. The beach access is across the street and the dog beach and fishing charters are within walking distance of a couple of blocks. Sunset watching, cocktails, live music, ice cream, and a farm to table restaurant is a block away in the opposite direction. Cheryl is a very accommodating host and checked in with us several times to make sure our needs were met.

Cheryl and Hobart were awesome. Very accommodative. The condo was clean, welcoming, and provided exactly what we needed for our summer get away. Sunsets were gorgeous, and we saw dolphins playing almost daily. Pass a Grille is such a unique village and great for leisurely strolls.

After “sheltering in place” for 2 months we needed a getaway and were so pleased we found this beautiful, comfy cottage! We felt very secure with the cleanliness of the home, and also with the efforts of the local officials at the beach and businesses in the area in keeping with social distancing. The cottage is in a GREAT location, right across from the beach, many dining options, and beautiful sunset views! Cheryl is a fantastic hostess and we really appreciated how welcoming they were to our doggie! Highly recommend! And we look forward to going back.
