Perfect for a couple with a dog

We could not have asked for a nicer experience - especially for 4th of July on short notice and with our 60 lb dog in tow! Cheryl was very attentive and helpful. She made us feel welcome immediately, and made sure we knew how to find dog friendly restaurants and the dog beach (a few blocks walk from the cottage). She also provided us with a detailed description of the cleaning procedures for the property in advance of our arrival, which was a comfort. Local menus and recommendations are organized in a binder, as well as instructions for using the very convenient FreeBee shuttle, made getting groceries and meals a breeze. The 1 bedroom was perfect for a couple with a dog. The view of the Gulf from the living room and the front porch (and the famous sunsets) is spectacular. Public beach access is steps away. A large assortment of beach chairs, umbrellas, noodles, etc are available right outside your door. All are in good repair, and so are the bikes, in case you would like to venture out for a bite or drink. Plenty of towels, toiletries, and kitchen basics. So many little details were already thought of and provided for, we felt like all we had to do was show up and relax! Exactly what we needed. Thank you, Cheryl and Hobie!

Perfect beach front house

Perfect beach front house to stay for a getaway trip in St. Pete! Clean and spacious 1 bedroom and bigger units are available as well. Cheryl was great and helpful with recommendations! We couldn’t have wished for a better location. We walked to everything and got to enjoy the dog beach with our dog Handsome on the intercoastal side of the beach. Watch sunset from your couch!

My fiancé, 14-year-old beagle, and I stayed in the Sunset Cottage (you can watch the sunset from the couch!) for seven nights, and we could not have asked for a more perfect stay. The location was amazing. The beach was right across the street, and we had everything we could possibly need provided for us: chairs, mats, an umbrella, etc. We were also just a couple of blocks from several shops and restaurants, so we barely had to drive once we got there. The cottage itself was clean, comfortable, and fully furnished and stocked. I was in constant contact with Cheryl, one of the owners, and she went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed (and more). Clean and comfy cottage

After “sheltering in place” for 2 months we needed a getaway and were so pleased we found this beautiful, comfy cottage! We felt very secure with the cleanliness of the home, and also with the efforts of the local officials at the beach and businesses in the area in keeping with social distancing. The cottage is in a GREAT location, right across from the beach, many dining options, and beautiful sunset views! Cheryl is a fantastic hostess and we really appreciated how welcoming they were to our doggie! Highly recommend! And we look forward to going back.

A few steps from great restaurants

Awesome location, friendly and attentive owners, and very comfortable stay. My husband and I spent a weekend in the 1 bed/1 bath unit at Pass-A-Grille. We loved how we were right across the street from the beach and within a few steps of great restaurants and shops. Loved the kitchen and dining area––the perfect size for us! Just thinking about how the sunlight shone into the living area makes me feel relaxed!

Spotless and Bright!

What an amazing cottage and location. Was exactly what we needed. Beach is literally right across the street and many shops and restaurants within walking distance which we loved. The walkability of this location is great for dog walking and never having to drive while you are on vacation. Cheryl and Hobart where both so nice and had wonderful suggestions on where to eat. But the kitchen had everything and more that you would need to make a fantastic meal if you are into cooking. In fact the whole cottage had way more than any place we have stayed at. They really have thought of everything. If you are looking to escape to a quiet and tranquil place with beach across the street this is the place to be. Lots of extras

Walk right across the street to the beach and just about a block and a half to all that this little gem of a town has to offer! So charming. Lots of extras in this cute little place like coffees, even creamer in the fridge along with waters and condiments if you choose to cook or grill out. Stayed in the front unit and enjoyed watching sunsets. Will stay again!

“Perfect Getaway!”

Perfect little cottage right across the street from the beach. Quiet, walking distance (2 blocks) to shops and restaurants. Cheryl was the perfect host helping us find great food, things to do, and making sure all was great for our stay. We had time to walk the beach, bike around Pass-a-grille, chill, and enjoy live music on the beach. Great for couples getaway or family vacation!

Don't miss out on Pass a Grille!

This is a charming little property in a perfect location! Step right out the door and step across the street to a direct path to the best beach. Inside is delightful with charm and the owner thinks of everything detail wise adding extras that made our stay so nice. Our large loveable pooch felt right at home too. Walk a block down the street to the charming shops and restaurants and never use your car. If you've never been to Pass a Grille, you're really missing out!

4th Visit!

I have stayed at the Pass A Grille Sunset Cottage 4 times and counting down the days until the next time. I was looking for a small house on the beach, away from all the tourists where I could come by myself for a low key long weekend. This location meets all my needs! It is right across the street from the beach, within walking distance of several restaurants and shopping. If you are looking for more to do, St. Petersburg is just a short car ride away. The cottage is clean, well maintained, and has the the necessities. Plenty of beach chairs and towels are also provided. The owners are so welcoming and very quick to respond to any needs or questions you may have. This has become my little piece of paradise!

“The location was prime”

The location was absolutely spectacular. Cheryl is amazing, she met us personally, let us in and showed us around. We were both exhausted from a very long week but she is wonderful. Being a dog owner herself, Cheryl was excellent with our dogs, which is something a dog owner appreciates when taking their little fur babies away with them. This cozy one bedroom place was exactly what we needed. The location was prime, excellent walking distance to the dog beach, directly across the street from the beach and boy it was so nice to have a parking spot right out front. We went on several long walks every day with our pups. It was on the main road but it was QUIET. The front porch was great, always with a beautiful breeze and the sound of the waves crashing on the shore. We are not out late kind of people, which made Pass-a-Grille the right place for us but even if you are and want to get downtown, there is ample transportation right around the corner. I enjoyed it so much, I booked it again. This time for two weeks. Ample kitchen space for two people and for extended stays, it is wonderful to do the dishes while watching the sun glisten on the gulf of Mexico. Loved it and counting down the days to get back.

Fantastic location

Great little cottage directly across the street from beach access and short 2 block walk to restaurants and shops. The included parking pass was a definite plus in addition to Cheryl permitting dogs regardless of size which can be a challenge for any XL dog breed owner. The kitchen was fully stocked and bed was quite comfy. Although we didn't utilize, the Jolly Trolly pick up point is also only 2 blocks away. The owners live in the upstairs unit and Cheryl was very responsive to email/text communication before and during our stay. Would definitely stay again.
